LOUIS XIII CITY OF LIGHTS

The second release in the Louis XIII Time Collection from Rémy Martin, each of which highlights an important moment in history for the legendary Cognac. This one, dubbed City of Lights 1900, honours the year that Louis XIII Cognac was first unveiled in Paris at the Paris World Fair. An astonishingly snazzy presentation of the exceedingly fantastic Cognac, which has been limited to 2,000 decanters.

Rémy Martin Louis XIII Cognac

A truly stunning Cognac from Rémy Martin. It is blended from around 1,200 different eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne appellation, and some of the spirit was distilled more than 100 years ago. This is a favourite of Elton John, Christian Dior and even Winston Churchill, who celebrated his election with it in 1951. It was served to Queen Elizabeth II in the Versailles Palace to celebrate her visit of 1957.

Hennessy Paradis Imperial

Released in 2011, this stunning Cognac from Hennessy is a blend of incredibly rare spirit distilled in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was inspired by a special brandy created by Hennessy in 1818 for none other than Tsar Alexander I as a gift from his mother. Beautifully packaged in a crystal decanter designed by Stephanie Balini, with an 18 carat gold-plated label.

The Macallan 48 Year Old 1969

An extraordinary Macallan single malt bottled by Duncan Taylor for its The Rarest of the Rare Collection – and it is indeed as rare as the name suggests. This one was distilled in 1969 and left to mature for a massive 48 years before being bottled at 40% ABV. It comes presented in a very handsome decanter with a wooden presentation box alongside two tasting glasses. Incredibly impressive indeed.
